Our approach to teaching and learning is that the classroom should be a fast paced, challenging and high expectation environment. Teachers must work with young people to ensure all work reflects their ability and allows them to succeed reaching their career aspirations. This only happens through well-structured lessons, carefully assessed written work and detailed, regular, communication with parents. The relationship between teacher, pupil and parent is the key to success. My colleagues, and I, will always be available to openly communicate with you.
I firmly believe that students can only thrive if they are content and happy in their environment. Therefore, I am very focussed on ensuring the school environment is an exciting and rewarding place to be. The cocurricular life must have opportunities that allow all students to develop their skills, interests and competitive spirits as well as pride in their school community. This part of school life must have the same value, and be celebrated in the same manner, as the academic life of the community.
